The exhibition shows the 50 best photos, selected by an independent jury of highly professional status and international fame: professor Frits Gierstberg, head of expositions Dutch Fotomuseum Rotterdam; photographer Bertien van Manen and director of the Dutch photo press agency Hollandse Hoogte Louis Zaal. With the Photo Contest the Association of Dutch Insurers wants to stimulate young photographic talent, and to support the winners in starting their career. There are three prizes of € 3.500, € 2.500 and € 1.500. During the opening night the Dutch Association will present a catalogue with the 50 nominated photos. The catalogue will also be for sale (at € 15) in the museum bookshop

Living apart, living together. Risk or challenge? The fourth exhibition of the Dutch Association of Insurers Photo Contest for Dutch photography students will take place in the Fotomuseum Den Haag. The 2007 theme ‘Living apart, living together. Risk or challenge?’ inspired more than 70 students of five academies of Art to participate, with in total ca. 200 photographic works of art.
