Are you between 16 and 18 years old and do you want to question reality through photography in a critical or humorous way, just like Boris Mikhailov? Then join the Teen Art Club. In 4 workshops, you will get to know the work of Boris Mikhailov better and you will start working with a camera yourself. The program concludes with a mini exhibition in the museum foyer. This is also a great way to get to know people with and without Ukrainian backgrounds!

Program
The program consists of 4 workshops. The exhibition "Ukrainian Diary" by photographer Boris Mikhailov is the starting point. Together, we will explore his working method and experimental techniques. Then, you will start working with a camera to create a photo series depicting daily life, but also addressing deeper topics such as freedom and oppression, capitalism and democracy.

The workshops will take place at the Hague Museum of Photography. 
The final workshop will conclude with the opening of the mini exhibition.

About the Teen Art Club
The Teen Art Club offers you the opportunity to explore art photography and meet like-minded people, ask critical questions, inspire each other, and create together. The organizers aim to gather a diverse group of young people - with and without Ukrainian backgrounds. This program will allow (re)connecting with Ukrainian art and culture.
